Susan Naylor Callaway

Susan Naylor Callaway is a native of Gadsden, AL. She received her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Music Education from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. She has taught private piano, music in elementary schools and has served as pianist in churches in Birmingham, Alabama; Jacksonville, Florida; Louisville, Kentucky; and Memphis, Tennessee.

She is currently a member of Central Baptist Church of Bearden in Knoxville, TN, where she enjoys singing in the choir. She is a freelance composer published with Hal Leonard, Brentwood, Van Ness Press, and Monarch Music (a division of the Lorenz Corporation).

Married to Reverend Richard C. Callaway, they have three children—Rebecca, Richard, and Emily.
